The auction is run through the online platform, GalaBid.  You will need to register through the GalaBid platform to make a bid.

Bidding is open from 1 June until 12 July.

Bidding on all lots will close at 8pm sharp (Australian eastern standard time) on Thursday12 July.

If you are bidding on multiple items, we recommend you consider enlisting the assistance of others to bid on your behalf to ensure you do not have to choose between lots during last minute bidding.

Each Lot page in this website directly links you through to the GalaBid page where you can make a bid for that Lot.

You can make bids anonymously through GalaBid.

Details about each piece, including the artist, size, medium and whether the piece comes professionally stretched or framed, are included on the page for each Lot on this website.

Some pieces have reserve prices, to ensure a fair return to the artists. Where a reserve price exists, this is noted on the Lot page on this website.

Terms and conditions applying to the auction are here.

Resale royalty

Resale royalty will not apply to lots sold in this auction.  If for any reason a resale royalty is payable, the EDO will be liable for that expense.

Final invoice

If you are successful, your invoice or a link to it will be issued to your registered email address and phone number shortly after the auction.

Credit card payments can be made through the GalaBid platform.  Alternatively, EDO volunteers at the event in Melbourne are able to receive payment by cheque or in cash.

Collection & delivery

All works will be on site at the final event in Melbourne.

We request that any winning bidder that is attending the final Melbourne event takes their piece with them at the conclusion of the event.

Our hosts at Arnold Block Leibler in Melbourne are unable to store artworks for any period after 11am on Friday 13 July. Items must be collected and paid for before that time, or alternatively have had transport arranged.

The EDO has arranged for specialist art courier, International Art Services (IAS), to attend final event location to pick up works that require transport and delivery.  You are not obliged to use IAS, however, they are our recommended provider of courier services.

Cost of delivery using IAS is determined by IAS and is at the cost of the purchaser.  We recommend that bidders seek an indicative transport cost prior to purchasing.

To contact IAS to discuss possible shipping arrangements, please contact:
